The Thunderbolts Festival 2026 brings Uralla to life with a full day of disco‑themed celebration, colour and community spirit. Now in its 27th year, this beloved volunteer‑run event transforms Alma Park and the main street into a vibrant hub of music, performance and family‑friendly fun. From the 8AM Bush Poets Breakfast at The Bolt to the spectacular 10:30AM street parade and vehicle displays, the morning sets the tone for a lively day featuring The Blue Motorcycle Project, JP & Hemlock’s Scary & Hairy Show, Helly Hoops Circus Playspace and live music from Four Book Trilogy.

Across the main street, visitors can enjoy Thunderbeats Roving Band and live performances at The Bolt Inn, 53 on Bridge and Alternate Root, while Alma Park hosts bustling markets, food stalls and $2 kids’ activities including a rock‑climbing wall, obstacle course and jumping castles. As the sun sets, the festival shifts into an energetic night program with a drumming workshop, neon hoop and poi performances, Hula Sizzle and a classic sausage sizzle. With free entry and a full day of entertainment, Thunderbolts Festival continues to shine as Uralla’s signature community event.
