Town and Boundary Signage

We are thrilled to share that the Rotary Club of Uralla has received funding from the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund Round 5! This grant will enable us to enhance the entrance and boundary signage for the towns and villages in Uralla Shire.

Our signage project aims to honour the Traditional Owners of this land, the Anaiwan people, while enhancing our community’s identity and wellbeing. The new signs will not only welcome visitors but also celebrate our rich heritage and culture.

We plan to implement a cohesive signage system for each town and village within the Shire, including installations at the borders. Each sign will proudly display the name of the town or village and acknowledge the Traditional Owners. 

Community input is vital for the success of this project! We are consulting with local Elders, residents, and community groups to ensure our signage reflects our shared values.
